What should I know if my vessel has a deep draft?
Entering the marina can be more challenging for deep-draft vessels. We recommend planning your arrival for a favourable tide.
Is the marina exposed to swell?
The marina is exposed to northerly swell. When these conditions are forecast, stay alert, check your mooring lines regularly and follow the team's instructions.
Does someone need to remain on board?
Please ensure someone remains on board so that mooring lines can be adjusted if needed.
How do I connect to water and electricity?
Water and electricity are available on the docks. Ask a dock attendant for any connection. Once a meter has been assigned, the office will activate the electricity remotely.

These facilities are reserved for marina guests. Hot water is currently unavailable in the showers.

Contact the marina office before bringing any used oil ashore to check the available collection arrangements. Do not leave used oil on the docks or with ordinary waste.
Is the marina monitored or staffed around the clock?
The marina is secured, and access is by access card. If you have an emergency outside office hours, go to the security desk on the ground floor of the main building or call the security hotline on +590 690 74 43 67.

Weather and navigation

How can I check current weather and sea conditions?
Check the latest official marine forecasts and navigational notices before setting out. You can contact the marina about official forecasts.
Can I remain at the marina during a storm or hurricane?
The marina is not a hurricane shelter. In the event of a hurricane, vessels must leave the marina and seek shelter in a suitable location. Plan your departure early, contact our team and follow the authorities' instructions. During a storm or heavy swell, ask the marina what precautions to take.
What are the bridge opening times in Saint Martin?
Bridge opening times are regularly updated on our website. Please check them before your passage. You do not need to pass under a bridge to enter Marina Fort Louis from the sea.

Clearance

How do I prepare and complete entry and exit clearance?
If your vessel is berthed at the marina, you can prepare your clearance online. You will receive a clearance reference number. Then visit the harbourmaster's office with this number so your clearance documents can be issued. Vessels anchored in the bay must complete their formalities at the Marigot ferry terminal or Galisbay commercial port.
