Customs and Immigration


The island of Saint-Martin is a part the French overseas administrative division of Guadeloupe.
  •  Immigration control is compulsory and conducted upon entry into the Marina Fort Louis by Immigration Police Officers (P.A.F.).
  •  Every foreign or French captain must declare his crew or passengers at the Harbour Master's office before they are allowed to disembark.
  •  When entering French waters, 12 miles off the coast line of Saint-Martin, the captain of a vessel must comply with French immigration regulations. Immigration Police, the National Gendarmes Force or Customs are allowed to check all vessels at any time at sea.
